Repairs broken or knotted yarn in braided jacket of firehose:
Reverses bradiing machine to unbraid yarn to defective area.
Untangles knots, ties brkoen strands, and turns spools of yarn
to take up slack. Starts machine and sginals Braiding-Machine
Tender (rubber goods) when defect is corrected. Changes pitch
gear on bradiing machine as specified, using wrench, and
verifies pitch of braid with rule. Moves supplies to
Braiding-Machine Tender (rubber goods) using handtrcuks. May
ifnlate hose to specified diameter to prepare it for covering.
